2020 Austrian GP: Race pace

The image shown above is a vector. You can zoom in as much as you want to see in which lap was each individual time done.

I removed the drivers that did not finish the race for the chart, but let me know if you’re interested in getting their race pace as well.

The first lap is not taken into consideration for this analysis, and laps done when the safety car was out were also deleted. Finally, laps that were considered anomalies were removed as well. This was done automatically by a scrip that I designed, but perhaps it needs refinement. Just for you to know in case you do the math yourself and get a slightly different result than the one shown here.

Remember that drivers with more pit stops tend to have faster times than drivers with fewer pit stops.

Awesome job. It’s impressive to see that the pace you calculated in your other post on FP2 race simulation pace is not so far than the real race pace.

As always great job with the analysis. Any idea where I can download the actual laptimes during the free practice sessions?
